DPP offered by us is designed with the minimum back pressure to ensure safe operation of the Diesel Engine / Diesel Genset. The Purifier is constructed with an array of Filter Modules, depending upon the volume of Exhaust Gas handled by it, retained in a housing constructed out of Mild Steel Enclosure provided with Inlet and Outlet Nozzles matching with existing Exhaust Pipe installation at site, being a retrofit in the existing system.
Diesel Particulate Purifier reduces DPM of various sizes in the Exhaust Gas that are made during the combustion of diesel taking place in the Diesel Engine. The Exhaust Gas passes through the porous walls of Filter substrate and the soot / solid particles will be deposited in the pores of the Ceramic Structure. The soot / solid particles thus deposited in the fine pores of the filter will be burnt off due to the exhaust gas temperature and the filter characteristics will be maintained unchanged without clogging the pores. While burning the soot, it becomes ash and the same may be partly instrumental in building resistance to flow of Exhaust Gas while increasing the back pressure. If black smoke releases through the tail end and the pressure differential exceeds the specified limit, the device shall be subject to servicing and manitenance. The top cover of the unit may be opened and the Filter Module with its mounting fixture be extracted.Request

Altenergy designed and developed Diesel Particulate Purifiers to reduce the concentration of DPM emissions by 75% to its full performance. The Purifier is a Filtration System with multiple Filter modules assembled in a fabricated housing made out of Mild Steel. Filter Modules are made of ceramic wall flow monoliths which will physically capture DPM while the exhaust gas flows through it. We can also offer the Purticulate Filter integrated with Diesel Oxidation Catalytic Converter Module constructed out of cordierite / Stainless Steel substrate with Precious Metal coating. The integrated Purifier can eliminate CO and HC to an extent of 80% in addition to abatement of DPM by 75%.  The Purifier housing is facilitated with Inlet and Outlet Nozzles of suitable sizes reducing the back pressure to minimum in the exhaust system. The Purifier is provided with Monitoring Ports on Inlet / Outlet sides, cover plates for inspection and servicing of the system. The Purifier can be installed in-line with the exhaust stack before or after the Silencer as close as possible with the exhaust manifold. Overall Dimensions of the Diesel Particulate Purifier are built in accordance with the customer's specification ensuring the efficiency of the purification process.

Diesel Particulate Purifier is designed to control Diesel Particulate Matter (DPM) emissions of Heavy Duty Diesel Engines of various applications including DG Sets.  Particulate Matter in sub-micron size is respirable and its increased concentration in the ambient air leads to serious health hazards like aggravation of toxic effects, asthma, cardiorespiratory symptoms, increased cough and chest discomforts, escalated mortality etc. Diesel Gensets of large capacities contribute enormous amounts of highly toxic effluents in the form of black smoke, PM, CO, HC, Nox etc. and these are subject to stringent environmental and occupational health regulations globally.
