DPP offered by us is designed with the minimum back pressure to ensure safe operation of the Diesel Engine / Diesel Genset. The Purifier is constructed with an array of Filter Modules, depending upon the volume of Exhaust Gas handled by it, retained in a housing constructed out of Mild Steel Enclosure provided with Inlet and Outlet Nozzles matching with existing Exhaust Pipe installation at site, being a retrofit in the existing system.
Diesel Particulate Purifier reduces DPM of various sizes in the Exhaust Gas that are made during the combustion of diesel taking place in the Diesel Engine. The Exhaust Gas passes through the porous walls of Filter substrate and the soot / solid particles will be deposited in the pores of the Ceramic Structure. The soot / solid particles thus deposited in the fine pores of the filter will be burnt off due to the exhaust gas temperature and the filter characteristics will be maintained unchanged without clogging the pores. While burning the soot, it becomes ash and the same may be partly instrumental in building resistance to flow of Exhaust Gas while increasing the back pressure. If black smoke releases through the tail end and the pressure differential exceeds the specified limit, the device shall be subject to servicing and manitenance. The top cover of the unit may be opened and the Filter Module with its mounting fixture be extracted.
